We are pleased to advise that all accepted abstracts will be submitted for publication in the fall issue of the peer-reviewed Canadian Journal of Geriatrics.

We gratefully acknowledge Lundbeck Canada for their support of the publication of the abstracts.

Abstract Review Process
All abstracts will be reviewed by the 5th CCD Scientific Committee. The committee will evaluate appropriateness and completeness of the information as well as scientific merit. All submissions will be acknowledged and assigned an abstract number. All abstract rejections made by the committee will be final.

Notice of Status of Abstract
You will be contacted by August 14, 2009 if your abstract submission has been accepted and will be published in the Canadian Journal of Geriatrics. All accepted abstracts will be presented as posters. The scientific committee will choose 5 posters for oral presentations during the conference.

Awards

We are pleased to announce that $500 will be awarded in recognition of the best abstract submitted in 2009.
